Pricing

Clear prices. Quoted before we start.

Every project is priced from a written brief, not a running clock. You know the number before we open Figma, and the invoice matches the proposal. No surprise bills.

Talk about Custom
Always included

What is included every time.

No matter which package you pick, these are not extras. They are how we build so the site still works well after launch week.

  • Built for phones first

Designed and built for phones first, then scaled up to tablet and desktop. Not a desktop mockup squeezed onto a small screen.

  • Speed targets

Sensible images, lean files, and a clear load-time goal so the site stays quick on real mobile networks.

  • Analytics setup

Tracking set up for the goals you care about: form submits, bookings, checkout steps. Not just raw pageviews.

  • Accessibility pass

Clear structure, keyboard navigation, focus states, and contrast checks so more people can use the site comfortably.

  • Handover notes

How to edit content, where hosting lives, who owns what, and a short checklist for the first month after go-live.

Optional care

Care plans after launch.

  • Up to 1 hour of content edits per month

Recommended

  • Priority queue for copy and layout tweaks
  • Quarterly performance and SEO review
  • Same-week response on business days

  • Everything in Active
  • Up to 10 hours of product-facing work
  • Monthly roadmap call
  • A/B and experiment support as needed
  • Direct Slack or email with the lead

Care is never required to launch. You can host and look after the site yourself with the notes we provide.

How long does a typical project take?

Launch usually goes live in 2 to 3 weeks once content is ready. Growth takes about 4 to 6 weeks. Custom timelines go into the proposal after discovery. We put a launch week in the agreement and stick to it, unless you change scope or content is late on your side.

What do you need from me to start?

A clear goal (leads, sales, bookings), brand assets if you have them, access to any existing domain or hosting, and someone who can make decisions on weekly reviews. Copy can start as rough notes. We help structure it. The usual slowdown is waiting on final photos or legal pages, so we flag those early.

What are the ongoing costs after launch?

You pay your own hosting and domain (usually a few dollars to a few tens per month, depending on the setup). Care plans are optional: Steady $150/mo, Active $450/mo, Partner $950/mo. Cancel any month. Growth includes 30 days of care after launch at no extra charge.

Who owns the site and the code?

You do. On final payment you own the custom design, production code, and content we made for the project. We do not lock you into a builder you cannot leave. Third-party tools (CMS, Shopify, analytics) stay under your accounts. We hand over a clean repo and deploy notes so another developer can pick it up.

What happens if scope changes mid-project?

We pause and write a change order before new work starts: impact on price, timeline, and what we can drop if you want to stay on budget. Small tweaks inside the agreed pages are normal. New page types, e-commerce, or integrations outside the agreement are not absorbed quietly. That is how surprise invoices happen, and we do not work that way.

How is payment staged?

Launch and Growth: 50% to start, 50% before launch. Custom: deposit at kickoff, milestone invoices through design and build, balance before we go live. We do not ask for the final payment until you have reviewed staging. Invoices match the signed scope, not open-ended hours.

Do you work with agencies or only end clients?

Both. End clients get a direct lead designer or engineer. Agencies can white-label build capacity when they need a partner who cares about performance. We agree on credit, communication, and who owns the client relationship up front so nobody is surprised halfway through.

Where are you based?

We are local-first, based in Werribee, Melbourne VIC, Australia. We prioritise local businesses across Melbourne and the westside, and we work online with anyone who wants a clear process and a launch date you can plan around. Meetups and calls are on Melbourne time (AEST/AEDT).
